I-CARE facilitates Inclusivity through Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Empathy.


We make business spaces more inclusive, comfortable, and safe for staff and customers alike, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.

I-CARE is an in-depth customer service training program that has been specially designed to heighten and improve the overall experience of all who operate within your business space.

Specifically focused on sexual and gender diversity, I-CARE outlines and explains different aspects of gender identity, gender presentation & expression, and sexual orientation that are integral to ensuring all within your business space are treated with the compassion, respect, and dignity they deserve.

Tangible tools, such as how to properly navigate and utilize pronouns, are integrated to make sure the theoretical becomes practically helpful.

The best part? Every program can be tailored to the needs of each individual business. Do you have an issue that keeps rearing its head that you want training and support on? We want to work in partnership with you to guarantee you and your team are getting maximum value from the program, so don’t be shy in letting us know what you need.

The program delivers two main components:

  1. Training frontline staff or management: By providing concrete strategies to set up and maintain respectful spaces, facilitating inclusive habits, and outlining inclusive language, your staff will be prepared for anything that might come their way. We also realize that it might not be feasible to shut down your entire operation for a few hours in order to train your entire staff, so we offer training geared specifically towards shift supervisors and managers, who will become equipped to pass along strategies to their service team. No matter what constraints you might have, I-CARE is ready to work with you.

  2. Ongoing, around-the-clock consulting and conflict resolution: Regardless of how prepared you might be, little things always seem to come up that demand creative thinking and outside-the-box solutions. At no extra cost, you’ll have ongoing access to our training expert who will work with you to iron out any kinks you might run into along the way. Whether they relate directly to the training you’ve received or are more generally issues of equity and inclusion that arise, I-CARE has got you covered.

At the completion of the program, you’ll receive your own supply of storefront stickers (as shown above) to signal your commitment to inclusion to potential customers. We will also equip you with custom-built resource guides, ongoing training materials, and whatever else you might want to have on-hand.
